180 ways people train this

The Map

I ranked 227 ways people reach flow and presence, using one value formula: how much it changes, times how likely it works, divided by the time and effort it costs. The formula crowned a massage.

That surprise is the point. The table below is the map: 180 methods, each with its score, its evidence grade, and an honest note. Sort it, filter it, argue with it.

One honest catch before you sort by score. The formula rewards cheap and instant, so the top of the list rents you a state for an afternoon. The methods that build a lasting trait cost more and sit lower. Both are real value; read the band column, not the decimal places. Above a score of about 6, the exact rank order is noise.

And one domain, breath and senses, scored noticeably above the rest in the audit. Its methods are genuinely cheap and fast, but treat its exact ranks with extra salt.

None of this is medical advice. Some methods carry real risks, noted per row. If you have a health condition, physical or mental, talk to a professional before trying anything intense.

The research covered 227 methods. 47 of them are not in this table: the domains of substances, sexual practices, and extreme ordeal. They are only available after signing in and reading a disclaimer. For safety, and because this is a map, not an endorsement of any method.
